I was told King of Thai Noodle House doesn't take a reservation but I was able to for 7 people at 4:30 pm before watching the Broadway musical Simon & Garfunkel show this Sunday. It was my first time dining here along with others. Actually one friend ate here before. The restaurant was small and they took us to our table on the back of the room. We did not order any drink but hot water. We ordered like a family style of Eggplant with Rice Seafood, Pad Thai w/ Shrimp, Wonton Soup, Tom Kha Gai, Crispy Egg Noodle w/ Gravy Sauce, Pad Thai with Chicken. A friend who has an allergy ordered chicken over rice but did not realize it was too spicy for her. The server graciously took her plate and changed it to Pad Thai w/ Chicken that she ordered separately. We told each other the food was delicious, savory and flavorful authentic Thai dishes. The servers Jane & Woody were nice. And they even came to check on us how we were doing. When we were leaving, my friend appreciated their gesture changing her spicy food without hesitation. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We stumbled across this place as we were looking for a place to eat during All-Star weekend. It is nestled in the bustling area of Union Square. We walked in, and were seated immediately. I ordered a yellow curry which I really enjoyed and my friend ordered noodles that were delicious as well. I appreciated the fast service as we were on a time crunch and the sauces and spices they had on our table. Overall, a solid Thai spot.

Not like it used to be. Union Square location is super busy but service is top notch. Despite the busy crowd, the workers are hustling and the phone is ringing off the hook. We ordered the wonton noodle soup and fried chicken over fried rice. The fried chicken used to be hella crispy but tonight's order was just okay. I still love this place.

After two days of attending the NBA crossover event, I wanted something filling that wasn't just snack food! Luckily my husband found this place and apparently he came here when he was in college! It was still the same to his liking and OMG it made such a great impression on me. We came back on Sunday!! The service was quick and everything was made to order! They were packed both days. I'm sure for the NBA event, but their food was delicious and very filling! The first day we got three dishes; vegetarian, Tom Yum soup, chicken, pumpkin, curry, and chicken pot Thai! We probably should have got vegetarian pot Thai, but they put so much chicken on the plate. I didn't want to waste anything, but chicken fills me up too fast! So if you're a meat eater, I'm sure you'll enjoy the flavors , and the amount of meat you get at this particular restaurant!! The second day we came back with our family and my nephews loved the food also and they are very picky eaters! They got the pad Thai, a beef soup and a rice dish. The second day we came we got the vegetarian pate and goodness there were so many vegetables I was full, but , not so full that I had to be rolled out of the restaurant. The day before , I literally ate all three plates and I was so full it was gross! But it was so delicious. I could not stop myself from eating!!Lol foodie problems!!

We stopped by King of Thai and ordered the Combination Beef Noodle Soup and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was delicious--great flavor and perfectly cooked noodles. The broth in the noodle soup had a rich, comforting taste that I really enjoyed, but there was an overwhelming amount of noodles, and some of the beef pieces were a bit tough to chew. Service was minimal; the waitress took our order and brought the check but didn't check in on us during the meal. Despite that, I'd definitely come back for the Pad Thai.

Small space, big feel, fantastic food. I got the pork noodle bowl with egg noodles and added all the seasonings from the table - so good! So fresh! And fast! Servers were very attentive, water glass never went below 1/2. Definitely recommend!

Good no-frills place with good food! Liked the veggie noodle soup and Thai fried rice. Was nice and warm for a cold day. Their sauces are good as well and paired well with the Thai fried rice.

Great food! We got seated super fast and the service was pretty good, staff were nice and the ambiance was cute with some festive Xmas decor. We shared the Thai style fried rice and the noodle soup. Good portions and flavors, very tasty. The fried rice needed a bit more spice so with the chili sauce it was the perfect flavor.
